Do you want to take on an exciting challenge in a leadership role as CO at one of the country's largest ATS?

We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to the development of air traffic control at ATS Landvetter and has a desire to help employees grow while fostering good relationships with our customers and partners.

Your Role

In your role as CO - Chief Operations, you will be part of the management team at ATS Landvetter, where you, together with the Unit Manager, are responsible for developing our operations, coaching staff, and providing them with the conditions and guidelines for their daily work.

Together with the other members of the management team, you will also be responsible for ensuring that the operations are customer-focused, and you will work in a team that aims to deliver air traffic control with the highest possible flight safety within the frameworks of the agreements we have with Landvetter Airport.

Your role includes contributing to ensuring that ATS has the right conditions related to the functional system with the help of LFV's SMS, our operational manuals, and competence assurance programs to conduct a safe delivery.

The role includes personnel responsibility.

Your Profile

You have a background as an operational air traffic controller.

We are looking for someone with strong leadership qualities, and experience in a supervisory position is advantageous. You have a natural engagement in the operations by being curious, taking initiatives, and having the ability to drive issues both independently and in a group.

In addition, we see that you:

• have an excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
• have good administrative skills with solid knowledge of the Office suite
• are structured with a good ability to prioritize, delegate, coach, and follow up

Employment

The position is a permanent employment with a placement in Landvetter. Some travel may occur in the role. Before employment, LFV conducts a security screening that includes a background check, security interview, and drug test. This position requires Swedish citizenship.

The Operations department is one of LFV's operational units. We are responsible for air traffic services for civil, military, and unmanned aviation. This includes leading and separating aircraft during takeoff and landing and providing support for flight planning. Our services are delivered to the Armed Forces, private, municipal, and state airports, as well as to airlines and pilots. Our mission applies in all states of readiness, and as an authority, we play an important role in total defense. We are approximately 350 employees within Operations, and we operate at about twenty locations across Sweden.
